Kristy Worthen
"I am drawn to paint because it is the very essence of who I am."
Kristy is a multi-talented artist, working with several different mediums: acrylics, watercolors, stippling, sculpting, scratch-board, woodcarving, murals and mixed mediums. The subjects of her art are as varied as the mediums she works within. The ambiance or mood of her work enables the onlooker to visualize the scene created by the artist. Her artwork reveals certain things while hiding other to preserve the mystical affect of the art. Kristy's ideas for her artwork are derived from everyday life, her dreams and visions. Current Work
The Artwork by Kristy is the newest addition to Kristy’s art portfolio. Artwork by Kristy is a 48 page book that can be used as a coffee table book and will also be used at museum’s to introduce Kristy’s artwork. The book highlights more than 40 pieces of Kristy’s artwork that has been exhibited in museums, plus an About the Artist page. Included is a directory where she has exhibited her artwork. Previous Work
Kristy's recent work include an anatomical heart that was used on a t-shirt by the Fulton County Hospital, Salem, AR for the Cardiac Rehab Department to give to patients when they complete their rehab class.

Currently she is working on a project to sell veterans t-shirts, she designed to raise funds for the Veterans Relief Fund, to help veterans in need. Another project Kristy has worked on is to  showing a brain in the different stages of Alzheimer's disease.
